Landscape Architecture
New World Associates (NWA) are professional landscape architects offering over 25 years experience in all types of landscape projects. Bruce Eitzen is a registered Landscape Architect Professional (PrLArch) with the South African Council of Landscape Architecture Professionals (SACLAP) as well as a member of The Institute for Landscape Architecture in South Africa (ILASA).
Projects include commercial, residential, retail, corporate, campuses, airports, hotels, roof gardens and Green Star landscapes amongst many projects completed. Working closely with architects, engineers and clients, we have produced many fine landscapes in South Africa and Zimbabwe. Our skills include master planning, site planning, budgeting, sketch design, detail design, tendering, specifications, construction inspection and maintenance supervision.
NWA brings a level of expertise and dedication to landscape projects that are well known for their excellence and attention to detail, ensuring that projects are developed to their full potential in line with their master plan or sketch plan intentions. Our wide range of complementary skills in environmental-, visual- and heritage planning ensure that our schemes are well rounded and fit appropriately in their environment.
We also pay close attention to plant choices based on the strong botanical background that we can bring to any project, Bruce Eitzen having studied Botany at UCT prior to commencing his landscape architectural studies at TUKS (U Pretoria). This is essential to successful landscapes which avoid poor plant choices and draw favourably from the great biodiversity found in the SW Cape where his practice is now located.
