As-built 5 years later, natural vegetation on lower garden left intact.
Note how only the lower house can be seen in this view from below! Elevations have only so much value. The introduction of a small lift car to the bottom of the site and the grey fencing certainly added a level of scarring that some green paint would help to blend away.
Good site planning put the private pool in the background of the lower house and effectively hidden between both houses from views both above and below.
